What we do
FoodVendorInsurance.com is a referral service. You tell us what you operate and where, and we connect you with licensed insurance professionals who can quote and issue the coverage. The site has been running since 2017, and it exists because the smallest food businesses are the ones most often asked for a certificate and least often given a straight answer.
Who we are built for
Food carts, food trailers, mall kiosks and retail merchandise units, pop-up tents, market booths, and the food pods and food courts those vendors trade on. If you run a full food truck fleet, there are better-fitting programs than the ones we lead with, and we will say so rather than pretend otherwise.
What we do not do
We do not bind coverage. Nothing on this site is an offer of insurance, and no policy exists until a carrier has underwritten and approved it. Do not cancel an existing policy on the strength of anything you read here. The full disclaimer spells this out.
How we are paid
We are compensated when a visitor we refer goes on to buy coverage, and some links on the site are affiliate links to partner programs. That is worth knowing when you read anything here, which is also why the guides say plainly when an annual policy would cost you less than the short-term one.
